One of the issues that has captured the attention of the association is environmental
degradation and climate change.
These risks and changes, which are increasing day by day, have led the association to adopt
a development approach that mitigates these risks according to its capabilities. The
association has consistently organized a variety of international and local activities
related to the environment, both in urban areas and in forests and national parks. The aim
is to create green spaces and expand them, combat desertification, and reduce soil
erosion.
This is achieved through planting trees and restoring forest paths, as well as by
organizinginternational camps for children
to raise awareness about the importance of preserving the environment.
The association's doors are open to volunteers, whether individuals, groups, or
institutions, to help achieve the association’s environmental goals.
Our slogan is: "The safety of generations depends on the preservation of environmental
safety."
OUR ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECTS
IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITH KIDS
One of our association's main objectives is to carry out environmental activities in schools across the region. These include taking care of green spaces in their schools, as well as awareness activities that highlight the importance of protecting the environment and caring for it.
In this context, the association has established a partnership with a school in the centre of Ouarzazate. It involves creating a garden in the school's backyard, planted with seasonal vegetables. The students take care of the garden under the supervision of one of the association's volunteers.

IN SUBURBAN FOREST AND NATIONAL PARKS WITH OUR PARTNERS
Forests on the outskirts of Ouarzazate play a vital role for the city and its residents. They act as a green belt that moderates the local climate, shields the area from strong winds, and helps stabilize soil suffering from erosion, while also offering a popular recreational escape, especially at weekends.
In partnership with local institutions, our association cares for these green spaces. Our work includes planting trees, replacing dead ones, watering and pruning plants, preparing seedlings in the nursery, and regularly maintaining facilities and pathways throughout the year. We also raise visitors' awareness of the forests' role for the city and organize activities for children.
As a civil society organization, we recruit volunteers and provide the necessary tools. Volunteers are needed every month except July and August, with about 15 per camp, mainly planting and caring for trees. Everyone interested is welcome to join.
INTERNATIONAL WORKCAMPS OF ENVIRONMENT-RELATED ACTIVITIES (with kids)
Scheduled activity: This workcamp is part of activities
related to children, where volunteers will prepare and oversee a variety of activities for
their benefit. These activities include practical ones like planting trees in the
institution’s grounds and organizing environmental workshops, as well as theoretical ones
such as preparing reports on environmental topics. The goal of these activities is to
raise awareness among children about the importance of protecting the environment. This
workcamp will take place in a public school in Ouarzazate.
The workcamp will be supervised by a technical manager whose task is to explain the work to
be done and to provide all the material needed to carry out the project.
